Located just 20 minutes outside of Knoxville, TN, Concord United Methodist Church features customized Acousti-Seal 931 steel faced operable partitions in their multi-use worship room.
Located at the back of the platform, this operable wall serves to conceal the musical instruments used for the contemporary service. Solid up to six feet high, each panel has a custom cut-out which is framed in maple and has two feet of tempered glass in the bottom of each cut-out. The idea was to have a design to where the instruments could stay out and be safe yet separated and out of site when not in use. The cut-outs were specifically designed to show the stained glass behind the stage when the partitions are closed.
“It provides a beautiful backdrop when the panels are in place.” Vicki Eleazer, Business Manager Concord UMC
