Modernfold begins relocation of corporate headquarters to Greenfield, Ind.; modern facility to improve capabilities
NEW CASTLE, Ind. (August 25th, 2004) - Modernfold Inc. - the worldwide leader in operable partitions - will relocate its corporate offices to Greenfield, Ind., from New Castle, Ind., by the second quarter of 2005.
The new headquarters, 215 West New Road, replaces a 100-year-old building with a new facility featuring more office space and the latest amenities. The Greenfield facility will feature space for new product development and a product showroom.
Brian Hurley, president of Modernfold, said the relocation positions Modernfold for continued growth. In addition, he said the relocation will help Modernfold uphold its commitment of providing educational opportunities for its distributing partners and employees. Furthermore, the new office’s proximity to Indianapolis (about 20 miles east) will allow the company to access to the metropolitan area’s broader talent base.
All of Modernfold’s New Castle employees will be relocated to the Greenfield facility.
Modernfold’s Dyersville, Iowa, and Sharonville, Ohio, manufacturing operations will be unaffected. The company employs about 340 people nationwide.
The company began operating in New Castle in 1925. Today, the Modernfold brand still signifies quality and durability in product design, supported by a well established nationwide network of independent distributors who assist in layout development, product selection, project coordination, installation, training and service.
