University Center of Dallas

Education - The University Center at Dallas was established in 1994 as the Dallas Education Center. The UCD was the first multi-institutional teaching center for higher education in Texas and was conceptualized to provide public access to higher education for citizens who live and work in downtown Dallas. Over the years, it has experienced significant growth with the latest refurbishment beginning in the fall of 2000.

With the need for more flexible space configurations to serve either a large class of over 40 or smaller classes under 20 - the need for space division was fulfilled by using a Modernfold application in a two-tone birch and cherry. The result is a perfectly blended application that works well in the environment and allows for space and sound isolation.
