St. Matthew´s Catholic Church

Religious - St. Matthews Catholic Church is located on the near northeast side of beautiful Indianapolis Indiana. Known for its parish, wonderful school and creating an atmosphere of welcome and belonging, St. Matthews Catholic Church continues to grow. Modernfold products facilitate the churchs ability to accommodate its growing congregation.

The overall goal of this project was to divide the main sanctuary so that a small chapel could be created. On days with large crowds, the wall is opened to provide overflow seating.

Both the chapel and the sanctuary posses a red oak wood décor, each room is stained and finished differently which created a unique challenge. The chapel has a clear finish red oak, while the sanctuary has a much darker stain and finish. Supplying Acousti-Seal 932 unfinished red oak faces allowed each side to be matched to its room décor. Moldings were applied to the pass door which matched the other doors in the sanctuary.
