Washington/Delta Dental Service

Office - Washington Dental Service, a member of the Delta Dental Plans Association, is the leading dental benefits company in the state of Washington. A very unique Modernfold Acousti-Seal 931 application was selected to maximize space within the Seattle facility.

A "curved" operable partition was installed in the cafeteria to divide the general open area from the luncheon bar/kitchenette area. Windows were installed in the panels to give the rooms an "open feel" when the partitions are closed. A wood finish was applied to one side of the partition, a painted finish to the other, creating a nice blend with the décor when the rooms are divided. The space is primarily used for customer receptions, meetings, and daily cafeteria use by the employees.

The desired outcome was the ability to separate the two areas for smaller lunch meetings or to create a prep area for food services when larger events are held. The Modernfold application accomplished this goal and gave Washington Dental the flexibility desired while enhancing the space with modern appeal.
