The Norse Home

Health Care - Norse Home is a non-profit continuing care retirement community with 45 years of successful service in Seattle. When plans called for renovation of the facility, recommended improvements included a conversion of office space into an inviting dining and activity area for residents. With this upgrade, administration wanted the ability to divide the space to accommodate the different programs available to the residents but maintain an inviting openess during dining hours.

Modernfold's 932 was used with a wood finish and window cutouts to create a visually appealing application that resembled French doors. This provided the desired light and openess, but also provided for space separation.
